- Fixed problem with
the OSG results engine
that was causing failures in reaching the benchmark specific configurations.
Sorry.
December 11th, 1996
- We have updated
the OSG results engine.
The new engine is a lot more configurable, has more help features,
and runs at least one order of magnitude faster than the old one.
- A minor change that should not affect people
unless they have links directly to the SPECweb96 results:
we have changed the name of the results files for SPECweb96
-- from "web-..." to "web96-..."
to match the proper name for the benchmark.

- Added a new section to the CPU95 information for
descriptions of compiler options.
Now it does not take a PhD in CS to be able to understand what was used
to optimize a vendor's result...
- Added another 30+ new results to the
CPU95 results.
May 14th, 1996
April 30th, 1996
- Added 17 new results to the
CPU95 results.
We now have more than 400 CPU95 results!
Our total result count is over 500,
with representation from over 150 different systems.
April 25th, 1996
- Added 24 more new results to the
LADDIS results.
There are now almost 70 results for this system level benchmark.
April 18th, 1996
March 28th, 1996
- Finally implemented a new
textual search engine.
You can now search the entire server for any particular text string or pattern.
Find out what here is "galactic" or "stable".

March 21st, 1996
- Added newest batch of results to the

January 12th, 1996
- Cleaned up a number of the indices underneath the
quick results index page.
- Fixed another bug in
results search engine
this one caused no records to be displayed if only 1 matched the criteria.
Off by one again...
- Integrated links to SPEC Newsletter articles
into appropriate pages. Also created list of article by benchmarks:
CPU95, CPU92,
and LADDIS.
January 11th, 1996
- Fixed a bug in the
results search engine
that was causing incorrect pattern matches (e.g. if looking for systems
where number of cpus matches 1, you'd also get a listing for a 12 processor
system). Numbers are now matched numerically, not as patterns.
- Added a form of our FAQ Sheet.
- Added a small list of
other performance WWW sites.
January 10th, 1996
January 9th, 1996
January 8th, 1996
