Other Notes

The NetApp F630 filer uses RAID to combine sets of disks
into one or more RAID groups used by one or more file systems.
As configured for this benchmark, two RAID groups of 14 disks
were created and assigned to the same single large file system.
The NetApp F630 uses a real-time embedded kernel that processes
NFS requests right from the network layer without any NFS daemons.
It uses NVRAM (non-volatile memory) to improve performance.
To run the SFS benchmark, configure the F630 by adding:
options minra 1 nosnap 1 nosnapdir 1 nfs.tcp.enable 1
to /etc/rc.
These option settings are for reproducibility and do not impact
performance except for minra, which minimizes file read-ahead, and
nfs.tcp.enable, which enables NFS over TCP.
