Other Notes

There is one SGI InfiniteStorage TP9300 RAID array attached to
the SUT. The TP9300 contains 2 controllers. Each controller is
connected to a FC port. Also, each controller has a 256MB cache.
Writes to either cache are mirrored in the other such that the total
effective write cache is 256MB. There are 7 TP-73GB-DE2-G expansion
units connected to the TP9300. Every TP-73GB-DE2-G includes 14
physical disks. A LUN is composed of 7 physical disks in a RAID-5
configuration. There is one test filesystem per LUN.
XFS is used for all test filesystems (F1-F16) as well as the OS.
1 dual port Gigabit Ethernet and 1 Fiber Channel HBA were installed
in the base system internal I/O slots. Only one port of the Gigabit
Ethernet adapter was used during the benchmark run.
Ethernet frames (1500 byte MTU) were used during the benchmark run.
Server tuning to factory settings.
