To run Viewperf after downloading the appropriate files, follow these instructions:

• Create a top level directory e.g. Viewperf 6.1.
• This top level directory should contain subdirectories:  AWadvs-02, DRV-05, DX-04, Light-02, ProCDRS-01, and viewperf.
• The viewperf subdirectory should contain viewperf.exe.
• Subdirectories:  AWadvs-02, DRV-05, DX-04, Light-02, ProCDRS-01 should contain the appropriate viewset files.

For Windows 95/NT :

• The top level directory e.g. Viewperf 6.1 should also contain the run scripts (ie RunAwadvs02.bat, RunDRV05.bat, RunDX04.bat, RunLight02.bat, RunProCDRS01.bat) and subdirectory vpost.
• The vpost subdirectory should contain vpost.exe.
• Double click on the appropriate Run*.bat file.  This will run Viewperf with the chosen viewset and display a summary of results with calculated weighted geometric mean.  Detailed results can be found in viewperf.log in the viewset directory.

For UNIX:

• Change directory to the selected viewset directory.
• Run the .csh or .sh file provided.  Results can be found in viewperf.log in the viewset directory from which the weighted geometric mean can be calculated.
